i. Comments Two other graffiti from Olbia (IGDOP 83a and IGDOP 83b) are dedications to Apollo Boreas (to be understood as Apollo victorious over the North; cf. IGDOP 93b: Νικηφόρος Βορέω, Nikephoros Boreo). Thus, we are invited to take βορεικοί, boreikoi, as a theophoric name derived from Apollo's local epiclesis.
