Personal:Διοδωρείων, Diodoreion - From the Greek personal name Διόδωρος, Diodoros (LGPN s.v. no. 80). The compound name Διοδωρείων, Diodoreion suggests either a founder or a benefactor of the association, (cf. Thomsen (forthcoming), Gabrielsen 1997 p. 126-7, Maiuri 1916 p. 141, Poland 1909 p. 73-6).
Note The character of the association is greatly reminiscent of other associations described as κοινὸν, koinon, although the descriptive term has been omitted in this case.

i. Local interaction The inscription from which the association has been attested was erected in collaboration with a similar association in the city of Rhodos called the Διοφαντείοι, Diophanteioi (CAPInv.2042).
