VII. ORGANIZATION

i. Founder(s) The phrase οὓς συνήγαγε (hous synegage) indicates that Dionysios son of Hermogenes A[lexandreus] acted as the founder of the thiasitai. The same formula appears in CAPInv. 38 where the goddess acts as the founder.

VIII. PROPERTY AND POSSESSIONS

iii. Income The dedication of the agalma (statue), the thymiaterion (incense-burner) and the libanotida (frankincense-burner) seems to have been funded by the thiasotai in light of the suggested restoration (ἀ[πὸ τῶν? θι]ασιτῶν).

IX. MEMBERSHIP

iv. Status The dedicator Dionysios son of Hermogenes may have originated from Alexandria though the ethnic is heavily restored (Διονύσιος Ἑρμογένου Ἀ[λεξανδρεὺς]). If so, he came from a well-attested family from Alexandria active in Sarapieion C in Delos (ID 2089; 2137; 2150).
