Two well-established ways of naming a group seem to have been combined here which from a grammatical point of view are mutually exclusive: hoi peri + personal name and the corporate term phratra in the singular. Other earlier, examples from Phrygia have the correct form he peri ... phratra (cf. CAPInv. 451.
