i. Archaeological remains For the site at Manastir, see TIR K-35/2 (Philippopolis) 213, s.v. Manastir, where a settlement and a sanctuary of the Thracian Horseman (walls, votive tablets, pottery, coins) of the Roman period and Late Antiquity are reported. XI. INTERACTION

i. Local interaction The συγγένειαι, syngeneiai, could have been subdivisions of φυλαί, phylai, cf. Robert 1945 for Caria. Such συγγένειαι, syngeneiai, were often connected to particular cults and sanctuaries.

i. Comments The term συγγένεια, syngeneia, is also attested at Philippopolis IGBulg III.1 959 and its territory IGBulg III.1 1104.

Note The fact that the term θιασῖται/θεασῖται, thiasitai/theasitai, occurs here in conjunction with the λοιποὶ συγγενεῖς, loipoi syngeneis, makes its private character debatable; cf. CAPInv. 558 from Aigina, where the term θιασῖται, thiasitai, also occurs in conjunction with public institutions (namely the boule and the demos).
