Note The attested names are male names. Furthermore, given the 'professional' character of the association it seems that the members were men.
iii. Age Adults
Note Being professionals employed in the measuring of the wheat, it seems that the members of the association had to be adults.
iv. Status The members were sitometrai, experts for measuring out the wheat, who could work for the state or for private landlords or farmers.

X. ACTIVITIES

iii. Worship The association dedicated the inscription to the god Sokopichonsis, a local variant of the crocodile god (ll. 8-9).

iv. Honours/Other activities The association shows its loyalty to the Royal House by dedicating the inscription on behalf of the King and Queen (ll. 1-6).

XIII. EVALUATION

i. Private association Probable
Note The restoration of [προ]στάτης in l. 11 seems convincing and therefore it is very probable that we have here an association that gathered together the sitometrai active in the nome-capital of the Arsinoite nome. The typology and wording of the dedication point towards this too.
