Local interaction |
For the two possible explanations for the fact that two different associations paid for the funerary monument of the musician Memnon, see the comments on the bakchion Asianon Beientoros in CAPInv. 723 (XI.i: Local interaction).

Comments |
This is one of the two possible examples from Macedonia for the term θρησκεία, threskeia, used for an association (see the comments on CAPInv. 698), cf. Chaniotis in EBGR 2006: no. 88. This is the only known association of Asklepios in Macedonia (Nigdelis 2006: 137).

Note |
We know practically nothing about this cultic group other than its name. The fact that it is associated with another private cultic association in an activity typical for private associations (contributing to the cost of members' burials) indicates that it is a private association too.
