Comments |
Fredrich (IG XII.8 21) identifies this group of orgeones with the orgeones of Herakles in Kome (CAPInv. 109) on the basis that this security horos comes from Moudros, located not far away from Kome (followed by Culasso Gastaldi 2006: 519). However, the identification of this group with the group of orgeones of Herakles seems uncertain in the absence of any further textual reference to the name of this group (Finley 1951: 277 n. 10).
