Treasury/Funds |
In the obligations of the lessee it is stated that if he is to leave the land unattended day and night, he would have to pay to the koinon two obols per day of absence: ἀποτεισά]|τω εἰς τὸ κοιν[ὸν ἑκά]στης ἡμέρας ὀβολοὺς δύο, apoteisato eis to koinon hekastes hemeras obolous dyo (ll. 20-21). If the term koinon refers to a private association, the group had a treasury.

Income |
Income to the koinon could include payment of penalties for absenteeism from the land leased to some individuals.

Note |
It is doubtful whether the koinon to which the lessees of the land are to pay some penalties in case of absenteeism (ll. 20-21) is a private association (of the tenants or farmers of the area?) or the public treasury of the nome or some other communal fund.
