Note |
Though no specific mention of a koinon or synodos, it is not out of the ordinary for groups to simply refer to themselves as 'the dyers' or 'the weavers' in both papyri and inscriptions. It is not uncommon for an association to be identified simply as οἱ ταρσικάριοι hoi tarsikarioi without the use of synodos, koinon, plethos or other term. The honorific context also strongly suggests an action undertaken by an association of some sort.
