Leadership |
οἱ προγεγραμένοι, hoi progegramenoi (l. 7). Since no names are given "in advance" and the group in question is supposed to distribute money, there is some reason to discard the literal meaning and regard the word as the designation for the association's leadership.
|
iv. |
Endowments |
The association is obligated to crown the grave of the donor. For this purpose, he has left a stephanotikon (l. 10). The progegram<m>enoi have to distribute the money to "everyone" (presumably meaning all members of the association).
|

Meetings and events |
The distribution of money (and thus presumably the coronation of the grave) takes place on the 10th day after the end of the 8th month (l. 9).
|
i. |
Local interaction |
If the distribution of money is not carried out as prescribed, a second group, the φιλόπλοι, philoploi (l. 10), shall receive twice the amount from the προγεγραμένοι, progegramenoi. This does not prove interaction, but at least some rivalry.

Note |
Professional associations in the 2nd/3rd century were often very close to the official civic institutions, but they probably remained essentially private associations.
