Comments |
The dedication is made by the strategos (l. 3-6) Ptwlms son of Pa-nȝ (Ptolemaios son of Panas) and a village scribe, Pȝ-ʿẖm-pȝ-šr-Ỉs.t son of Pȝ-šr-Wsỉr (Pachompshenes son of Psenosiris). We do not know if they had a role in the association or if they just took part in the dedication. The strategos Ptolemaios son of Panas has several religious titles cited in the inscription (l. 3-5): prophet of Hathor (pȝ ḥm-nṯr Ḥwt-Ḥr), prophet of Horus (pȝ ḥm-nṯr Ḥr), prophet of Ihy (pȝ ḥm-nṯr Iḥy), prophet of Isis (pȝ ḥm-nṯr Ỉs.t), overseer of the treasury of Hathor, mistress of Ioun, of Isis the great goddess, of Horus the Behedite, great god master of the sky (pȝ mr pȝ pr-ḥḏ n Ḥw.t-Ḥr nb Ỉwn Ỉs.t tȝ nṯr.t ʿȝ.t Ḥr-Bḥd.ṱ nṯr ʿȝ nb p.t).
