This Demotic papyrus is an account of a religious association, the name of which is lost. The text is the most ancient attestation of an association in Egypt. There are two columns on the verso and seven on the recto. The payments are made in money, cereals and ointment.

This papyrus was bought by Revillout in Heidelberg. It is now located in the Louvre (Paris).

Leadership |
On the recto of the papyrus, the text B, col. 2 explains that a man named Rnp.t-nef (Repetnefer) has been appointed mr mšʿ ("general"), mr šn (lesonis), and scribe (sẖ) of the association. All those offices are usually appointed every year (De Cenival 1972).
