XII. NOTES

i. Comments Μνήμης χάριν, mnemes charin, is ‘not exclusively funerary’ (cf. e.g. Bean-Mitford, Journeys -- Rough Cilicia, 1964-1968: 38 no. 18 with commentary). But the find spot indicates that the inscription is a posthumous memorial.
