Officials |
The equestrian here (if that is indeed what he is, ll. 1-2) appears to be acting as an elder of this association (if Casanova's reconstruction is correct: πρεσβεύοντι presbeuonti from πρεσβεύω presbeuo, although one wonders whether πρεσβύτερος presbyteros would have been his title in the association [but cf. Pap. Agon. 1 = CAPInv. 1912 for what appears to be an ex-secretary(?), l. 83: γραμματεύσας τῆς συνόδου, grammateusas tes synodou, and Pap. Agon. 6 = CAPInv. 1952, l. 102 have γραμ̣μ̣ατεύων grammateuon for what seems to be a current secretary in post).

Status |
Depending on the date, members may have been Roman citizens given the Constitutio Antoniniana. One member (if this is to whom this petition is actually addressed) may have been an equestrian, and therefore, of high status.

Proper names and physical features |
Heron (l.4); Hermias (l.4).
Whether or not these individuals are members of this association is difficult to know; there is nothing in the text to suggest that they actually are.

|
Note |
It seems likely that this is a private athletic association, given the use of the terms synodos hieronikon and their appearance in other association correspondence and contexts.
