Gatier 1985: 311 argues that "ici la forme d’association entre les jardiniers paraît sommaire, limitée à l’érection de la base dédiée à la déesse poliade de Gerasa, Artémis". While a permanent structure cannot be proven, it should not be excluded. The find-spot, the date and the worship of Artemis invite comparison to the systema of the gnapheis (CAPInv. 592).
