i. Private association Probable
Note The Makedones are the only other group (as opposed to individuals) apart from the kerameis (CAPInv. 594) and the agoreis (l. agoraioi: CAPInv. 595) to have erected columns in the macellum. This seems to suggest that they should be regarded as an association.
