ii. Leadership The ἀρχιμύστης Βάκχου Μεγάλου, archimystes Bakchou Megalou (I.Iznik 1324, ll. 5-6) was apparently at the head of a group of initiates.

iii. Worship The initiates headed by the archimystes Bakchou Megalou worshipped Dionysus and performed mysteries (ἀρχιμύσ[την] Βάκχου Μεγάλου, archimys[ten] Bakchou Megalou, I.Iznik 1324, ll. 5-6, cf. Jaccottet II, p. 146).
