Local interaction |
The συγγένειαι, syngeneiai, could have been subdivisions of φυλαί, phylai, cf. Robert 1945 for Caria. Such συγγένειαι, syngeneiai, were often connected to particular cults and sanctuaries.

Comments |
The term συγγένεια, syngeneia, is also attested at Philippopolis IGBulg III.1 959 and its territory IGBulg III.1 1104.

Note |
The fact that the term θιασῖται/θεασῖται, thiasitai/theasitai, occurs here in conjunction with the λοιποὶ συγγενεῖς, loipoi syngeneis, makes its private character debatable; cf. CAPInv. 558 from Aigina, where the term θιασῖται, thiasitai, also occurs in conjunction with public institutions (namely the boule and the demos).
