ii. Leadership The association is led by an ἀρχισυνάγωγος, archisynagogos (ll. 5-6), and a ἱερεύς, hiereus (l. 7), who are the only officials of the association that we know of.
ix. Privileges The association paid for the funerary monument of deceased members.

VIII. PROPERTY AND POSSESSIONS

i. Treasury/Funds The erection of the monument is explicitly said to have been funded by the association's treasury, the γλωσσοκόμον, glossokomon (ll. 8-9).

IX. MEMBERSHIP

ii. Gender Men
Note The two leaders of the association and the deceased are men.
iv. Status This is yet another association where professional and cultic aspects coexist. The deceased was a carriage driver, the association's leader was a manufacturer of yokes, and the deity worshiped was a protector of narrow passes and thus of professionals involved in transport and long-distance land commerce.
