Laws and rules |
The inscription preserves part of the regulations of an association. L. 3 specifies that something must be inscribed on a λεύκωμα, leukoma, a gypsum-covered tablet, and displayed during banquets, presumably at the association's club-house. Ll. 4-7 specify rules pertaining to how the association should cover (part of ?) the cost of the members' and their family's funerals, under the supervision of the exetastes. Finally, ll. 7-9 are provisions for loans (with interest) provided by the association to its members.

Privileges |
Apart from the financial help the association offers for the cost of its members' and their family's funeral (ll. 4-7), it also offered loans with interest to its members.

Note |
Although there is no available information on this collectivity's name and nature, the vocabulary used and the provisions for funerals assure that it is a private association.
