iii. Members Members are described as οἱ τῶν ἐποποιῶν συναγμένοι ἐν Ἀθήναις, hoi ton epopoion synagmenoi en Athenais (ll. 1, 11).

ii. Meetings and events The association of epic poets participated in the embassy to the Pythia festival in Delphi sending their own envoys (ll. 4-5).
iii. Worship The envoys of the association sacrificed and took part in the procession together (συνέθυσαν, συνεπόμπευσαν, synethysan, synepompeusan, ll. 5-6).

ii. Interaction abroad The association of the epic poets enjoyed the privileges of proxeny and priority in consulting the oracle at Delphi (προξενία, προμαντεία, proxenia, promanteia, ll. 11-12).

Note It is not clear whether the association of epic poets is an autonomous, self-sufficient group or formed part of the wider association of the technitai of Dionysius. On the basis of this testimony alone, it seems that it is autonomous, Aneziri 2003: 213-5; cf. Le Guen 2001: II 123, no. 547.
