Salomies suggests to see a veteran in the euergetes instead of the cognomen Vetranus (l. 1: Πόπλιον Κορνήλιον οὐετρανόν, Poplion Kornelion ouetranon instead of Πόπλιον Κορνήλιον Οὐετρανόν, Poplion Kornelion Ouetranon).
