i. Comments The only reliable restoration in the inscription is [π]ατέρα σ[υνόδου], [p]atera s[ynodou] (acc.) in no. 2. The other tentative restorations are suggested by contemporary Bosporan records belonging to several private associations. Was this association a local one or, more likely, one of the societies attested in the not far lying Pantikapaion?
