VIII. PROPERTY AND POSSESSIONS

ii. Realty The papyrus records the sales of various property (presumably) by the state through praktores xenon, to various individuals. The passage where the association is mentioned (in the dative case) is fragmentary and the context is not clear: a ship and doum palm wood are mentioned in the two immediately preceding lines. Perhaps the association owned some palm trees, which were sold for various purposes?
