iv. Honours/Other activities The syngeneis awarded posthumous honours to Teimothales (the iconography of the stele suggests a wreath) and presumably attended to (and perhaps assumed the cost of) his burial. The deceased was obviously a member of the group.

Note Whether the syngeneis of our inscription constituted a durable association or a group formed ad hoc by some of the deceased's relatives for the purpose of burying and honouring Teimothales cannot be established.
