iii. Income The association is listed in the account as receiving five drachmae: εἰς τὸν θίασον ε, eis ton thiason 5 (l. 4). The other recipients in the list are all private individuals.

XII. NOTES

i. Comments The presence of an entry of expenses, indicated as the salary of someone (l. 5: Παληχίτου ὀψώνιον, Palechitou opsonion), seems to indicate that the account belonged to a businessman or small enterprise, who also acted as sponsor or patron – if not just as simple member – of the association.
