ii. Leadership On the basis of the name of the group, Epikrates was obviously the leader of the association.
iii. Members Members, including the deceased, are called συνήθεις, synetheis.
ix. Privileges As is usually the case, the association, in this case probably along with the dead member's liberated slave and perhaps his family, paid for the funerary monument of members.
