i. Comments The dedication is dated after the eponymous basileus.
The deity of the association is unknown. In Callatis there were thoinetai both of Demeter Chthonia (I. Kallatis 40, possibly also 41 = CAPInv. 1158) and of Herakles Alexikakos (I. Kallatis 68 = CAPInv. 1161): therefore, it is impossible to decide.
