The dedication is dated after the eponymous basileus. The deity of the association is unknown. In Callatis there were thoinetai both of Demeter Chthonia (I. Kallatis 40, possibly also 41 = CAPInv. 1158) and of Herakles Alexikakos (I. Kallatis 68 = CAPInv. 1161): therefore, it is impossible to decide.
