Note |
The only reason to suspect an association is the presence of a [νεανι]σκάρχης, [neani]skarches. This is, of course, a civic office but we find several cases of [νεανι]σκάρχαι, [neani]skarchai, in associations from the Bosporan Kingdom (CIRB 103, l. 8: see CAPInv. 1296, VII.iii) and especially from Tanais (passim, mostly beside γυμνασιάρχαι, gymnasiarchai).
