ii. Reference context Royal decree of Ptolemy VIII Euergetes II securing the proper revenues for the priests involved in the royal cult. The passage is fragmentary but mentiones that a decree had been already passed regarding the ethne and hierodouloi.

Note It is possible that the term ethne here indicates generally various associations which were connected with temples (cf. BL X 275). The context however seems to suggest that it may refer to priestly classes.
