This inscription is included in the Tituli Alieni by the editors of IG XII.6.2, on the basis that it was found together with two inscriptions (IG XII 6.2 1198, 1199) that came to Samos from Miletos.

Note |
The use of the term thiasos to describe the group suggests a cultic group. However, due to the fragmentary nature of the evidence the exact name and nature of the group escape us.
