XII. NOTES
i. | Comments |
Dölger 1932: 394 suggested to read α' κναφάριος, 1 knapharios, instead of ἀκναφάριος, aknapharios, and interpreted it as a short form for πρωτοκναφάριος, protoknapharios. He thought the term is used analogous to πρωταυράριος, protaurarios, maybe the leader of the association of the goldsmiths in Corycus (cf. the comments to CAPInv. 1018). For ἀκναφάριος/ἀγναφάριος, aknapharios/agnapharios, cf. Robert 1969: 915-23. |
