Interaction abroad |
Formal interaction with Rome and the Imperial institution are to be argued from the terms philosebastos kai philoromaios synodos (l. 2). It was also a travelling synodos (περιπολιστική, peripolistike, l. 3), so we can assume that there was enough interaction abroad. The synodos honored Flavius Acribius, who was a Roman citizen and highpriest for life of the whole athletic xystos, see Moretti 1953: 190-1.
