This office may refer to the civic cult of Dionysos in Ilion (Jaccottet 2003, vol. 2, 171).

X. ACTIVITIES

iii. Worship The hieronomos takes care of the cult of Dionysos (ll. 2-3).
The cult of Dionysos is also implied by the name of the association itself, i.e. speira.

iv. Honours/Other activities Heliodoros bears the honorific epithet of euergetes of the speira (l. 2). Note, however, that this word is largely restored and initially the word e[parchos] was reconstituted (CIG 3629; IGRR IV 217).
