epigonoi probably signify the descendants of military settlers in the area. See Mitford 1961: 134-6, no. 35; Hermary 2004: 54-5. They may also have inherited their ancestors' religious traditions (SEG 54: 1531).

Mitford 1961: 134-6, no. 35 demonstrates that the association honoured Theodoros, son of Demetrios, his wife and his two sons. Theodoros was a citizen of the Pamphylian Arsinoe and the Ptolemaic commander of Charadros, located on the coast of 'Rough' Cilicia.
