Professional:The name of the profession is not certain. Cf. Dittmann-Schöne 2010: 142 for discussion on readings (ἀσκανιταί?, askanitai) and interpretation (κανιταί, kanitai = mat-of-reed-makers?). Ruffing 2008: 567 prefers the traditional interpretation as basket makers.
