Endowments The association is the second option for a funerary endowment: if the first option, the συντεχνία τῶν ἡλοκόπων, syntechnia ton helokopon (l. b2), fails to fulfil the obligatoin (i.e., distribute the stephanotikon annually at the grave), the endowment is transferred to the χαλκεῖς, chalkeis.
