This is a dedication to the synodos, of which there are several examples. Of note here is the identification of Dionysius as an archon, which may refer to an association title (though rarely attested if at all in the Egyptian evidence); equally, his description as philagathos seems comparatively rare as an epithet, though certainly keeping in line with usual mentions of awards of honor on account of someone's eunoia, eusebeia, and philotimia.
