Source(s) provenance |
Perinthos, though exact find place unknown. Believed to have originated from the eastern side of the acropolis, since in 1964 L. Robert saw the stone at the military camp lying at the NE side of the hill. Today the stone is kept in the community's park.

Interaction abroad |
The title φιλαπαμεῖς, philapameis (an hapax, though cf. the terms φιλαθήναιος, philathenaios , φιλορώμαιος, philoromaios, and many others) shows the close connection of this group with Apameia of Bithynia, the city lying at the opposite shore of the Sea of Propontis. Robert 1974: 64-8 has amply demonstrated the mutual commercial and financial interests of these two cities; Thériault 1996: 97 suggested that a dedication to Homonoia may be interpreted as a sign of some former commercial conflict.
