Comments |
It has been argued that the specific group should be considered correlated to other references of aleiphomenoi as a community without the institutional status of an association (Jacquemin, Mulliez and Rougemont 2012: 339) However there are many examples from other regions (Amorgos: IG XII.7 234-235, Thera: IG XII.3 331, Samos: IG XII.6 133) where the koinon is mentioned on decrees, in contradiction to other cases where term aleiphomenoi (without koinon) is reported.
