Milik 1972: 132-3 argues that this is a thiasos consisting of 12 members (the leader not being mentioned), and thus corresponding to his second type of Semitic thiasoi. All names are followed by a numeral; Milik takes these as contributions to the banquet. This is possible, but far from certain. There are other lists in the same sanctuary, on the same wall, that Milik also regards as evidence for associations: cf. CAPInv. 678 and Dura-Europos V, no. 460 (very fragmentary, not listed in this inventory).
