Local interaction |
If this is an association of sport-lovers, it is noteworthy that its leader bears the same cognomen (Agathopous) -but a different nomen- as the deceased member of the other association of possible spectators attested at Thessaloniki (see CAPInv. 794) .

Comments |
The most probable interpretation of the association's name suggests that the members were an organized group of spectators for all sorts of sports and shows (see IV.ii, above).

Note |
That this is a private group is ascertained by the nature of its possible activities; whether it had a stable associative structure, however, is not as certain.
