It is not clear whether the association of epic poets is an autonomous, self-sufficient group or formed part of the wider association of the technitai of Dionysius. On the basis of this testimony alone, it seems that it is autonomous, Aneziri 2003: 213-5; cf. Le Guen 2001: II 123, no. 547.
