X. ACTIVITIES

i. Assemblies The fact that a rogator is mentioned (here the priest of Artemis), along with the formula δεδόχθαι τ[ῆι συνόδωι, dedochthai t[ei synodoi (l. 15) points to a formal assembly during which the decree was passed.
iv. Honours/Other activities They honour their treasurer and honour him with a crown. Other honours may have been bestowed upon him, but the stele is broken at the bottom.

XI. INTERACTION

ii. Interaction abroad The city of Haliartos was handed over to Athens after the dissolution of the Boiotian Confederacy in 171 BC. The rogator of the decree is an Athenian, and so is the honorand. The decree is also dated with the Athenian archon.
