ii. References to buildings/objects This is another instance of professional associations receiving diastyla from M. Publicianus Nikephoros. Unlike other groups, this synergasia receives only one diastylon, and it is in fact unclear what they did with it, given that their profession (private baths) was not one that involved the sale of goods on the street. Perhaps the diastylon was used for marketing purposes, or, as Dittmann-Schöne 2010: 155 believes, as a meeting place.
