v. Other staff πρεσβευτής, presebeutes (l. 8).
Hermaiondas, the auletes (aulos player), was appointed ambassador (presbeutes), responsible for proclaiming the honours bestowed on Teleson in the festival of the Apollonia on Delos.

Known practice of appointment ἑλέσθαι, helesthai (l. 7): the presbeutes was to be elected

v. Relations If Hermaiondas, the auletes and presbeutes of the technitai to Delos, is to be identified with the Boiotian Hermaiondas (see XII.i), then the Isthmian and Nemean branch included members outside the Peloponnese (see Aneziri 2003: 419).

ii. Meetings and events Apollonia on Delos:
The technitai sent their own ambassador in the festival of the Apollonia on Delos, the auletes Hermaiondas, who was entrusted to proclaim the honours bestowed upon Teleson during the festival.
iv. Honours/Other activities The technitai honoured Teleson Delios with a patrios crown on account of his virtue (ἀρετή, arete, fully restored) and his goodwill (εὔνοια, eunoia) towards them (ll. 2-6). The honours were to be be proclaimed in the Apollonia on Delos. The decree was to be set up in the sanctuary of Apollo on Delos.

ii. Interaction abroad The technitai dispatched a presbeutes (ambassador) to the festival of the Apollonia on Delos, responsible for the proclamations of honours granted to Teleson (ll. 6-7). The honorand was a Delian (Teleson Delios).

i. Comments Both Le Guen (2001: p. 133, TE 19) and Aneziri (2003: pp. 417-8, Dubia 1) reach the conclusion that the decree was in all likelihood issued by the Isthmian and Nemean branch on account of the prosopography: the auletes Hermaiondas, presbeutes of the technitai in Delos, can be identified with Hermaiondas, son of Nikias, an auletes from Boiotia, active in the last decades of the third century BC (Stephanis 1988: no. 895).

i. Private association Certain
Note Although the name of the technitai is partly restored, Hermaiondas' capacity as a presbeutes sent to Delos and his profession (auletes) leave no doubt about the identity of the body issuing the decree, i.e. the Dionysiac technitai.
