iv. Honours/Other activities The association honors L. Egnatius Quartus, a man with a distinguished military career, who is also on record in two honorary inscriptions from Akmoneia, his home town (IGR IV 642; SEG 56: 1492). He is said to have been κτίστης, ktistes (l. 12) (of the city), φιλόπατρις, philopatris (l. 13), and εὐεργέτης, euergetes (l. 15), of the association; thus, the reference is twice to the city and once to the association.
