Note It is unclear whether or not thiasos, a word hardly ever used in Phrygia, means association here (perhaps the imperial family has its thiasos like Dionysos has his?). If it does, one may assign to it a role in the imperial cult, as does Ritti 1983: 180. Such an association could be private or public; there is no way to decide.
